Wild Horse is also known as Crazy Horse Stone or Appaloosa Stone. It is actually white magnesite with brown mottling, just like a paint horse. It also contains hematite. Wild Horse Magnesite is a natural gemstone found near Bisbee, AZ. “Wild Horse” magnesite is a marketing name. The colors are predominantly a luscious chocolate brown, deep red/brown, rust reds with white plumes. This material is similar in hardness and texture to turquoise. But NOT turquoise.
