Statement Ring

🍂Large and in charge! This beauty is an oldie but goodie! Unsigned. The "stone" is block turquoise. Block turquoise is a type of turquoise that is either completely synthetic or reconstituted turquoise that is cut and sold in cubic blocks. The synthetic turquoise is dyed plastic, while the reconstituted turquoise containing some real turquoise. This type of turquoise is often used because it is cheap and easy to work with, allowing for creative designs, which this artist did. It is still amazingly beautiful work. Many artists have used block as a way to make pieces more affordable for buyers as well. If real turquoise this ring would be over $300. The "stone" does have a crack but is in place and stable. If not sold, I am considering replacing the stone, something you might want to do too!

Tested sterling silver. Measures 2 3/8" long and 1 1/2" wide. Size 8.
